Mission Moment- Good Shepherd Outreach

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.  If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God.  If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 4:10-11

We have many opportunities to serve as Outreach Ambassadors at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church! This month will be the Mobile Food Pantry on October 13th beginning at 8 am! We have been collecting soup, toilet paper, and cash donations for the past month in order to fill in the gaps of what we receive from Master Provisions and the Free Store.  We anticipate serving approximately 100 families who have a need in our local community!  [Update 10/14: We had over 30 volunteers and served 104 families!!  YAY!!]

We have the opportunity to reach out to our local community and beyond!  Take a look at what events will be coming up during the year.  Use this list to plan ahead in your giving!  Look for sales!  Begin collecting items or setting aside funds!
